Few executives in the sports & entertainment marketing fields have made such an impact on their industries at such an early age as Robert Tuchman, president of Manhattan based TSE Sports & Entertainment. A Native of Westchester County, NY, Tuchman heads up a multi faceted operation that specializes in everything from planning and managing sports and entertainment hospitality programs and corporate events to developing and implementing athlete marketing initiatives and consumer promotions.
What has been a secret to Tuchman's remarkable success? Tuchman is a donor of New York Junior Tennis League, Tennis Hall of Fame, and several other sports related charities. He is a member of Team in Training an organization that runs triathlons and marathons to raise money for Leukemia patients.
Among Tuchman's greatest interests away from the office are writing and film. He also plays roller hockey and tons of pick up hoops. He currently resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Brett Sklar
Senior Vice President
They say, if you are Number Two you need to work harder. And no one in the sports marketing and hospitality field works harder than the Number Two executive at Manhattan-based TSE Sports & Entertainment (TSE), Brett Sklar.
A native of Tarzana, CA, Sklar serves as Senior Vice President of TSE. He joined the firm in October 1997, six months after the it opened its doors, and now is responsible for all of the agency's internal and sales operations.
"Brett Sklar brings a great deal of sales knowledge, business acumen and motivational skills to his role at TSE," states agency president Robert Tuchman. "We would not have been able to build the company so completely and so quickly without Brett's assistance and contributions."
Prior to joining TSE, Sklar was a sales representative with Roberts Pharmaceuticals in Red Bank, NJ from 1995-97, and also served in that same capacity from 1994-96 with Record Press in New York, NY .
A 1993 graduate of the University of Arizona, with a B.A. degree in Psychology, Sklar currently resides in New York City.
Andy Robb
Vice President of Operations
Andy Robb has been a tremendous asset since joining TSE as its Director of Operations in 1998. Upon his hiring, he immediately embarked on an in-house restructuring. This streamlining instantly increased the efficiency of TSE. Andy has constantly worked to meet the needs of TSE's clients and employees. Highlights of his tenure include improved on-site event management, enhanced client relations, a more effective collections process, and implementation of a more generous employee benefits package. These adjustments have enabled TSE to attract and retain a strong core of employees and to expand its client base exponentially.
Andy graduated from Brooklyn College with a Master of Science in Sports Management and earned his undergraduate degree from State University of New York College at Oneonta. He is an active member of Networld and the Brooklyn College Alumni Association. He has also been a regular donor to the New York Junior Tennis League and has done volunteer work for the New York Police Athletic League.
